Young at Heart met Wednesday October 4 at FUMC for lunch and a program about favorite old hymns of the church by Louie Bernard. Dale and Linda Higginbotham closed with “God Will Take Care of You”.

Birthdays for the month were celebrated by Jo Honeycutt and Nyle Parchim, Jr.

First time guest was Jessie Martin with the Council on Aging.

Decorations with a Fall Y’all theme were provided by the Koinonia Circle of young Methodist women.

Norma Hart asked for suggestions for future programs. The group is of all denominations and meets first Wednesdays of each month, 11 to noon
