  1. Driver ran red light at same intersection, E5th and Kyser, a couple months back and totaled my SUV; luckily no injuries, no lawsuit. I now watch the number of drivers speeding thru red lights all over town, and apparently many vehicles have no working turn signals or ignorant drivers.

  2. I’m like a friend of mine who told me a long time ago: We have one 4 lane street n Natchitoches and no one know how to drive on it.

  3. I had a NPD almost hit me turning on the wrong lane. I have it all on dash cam. He was in the wrong lane and darted out in my lane almost hitting. Kept going , like what the hell.

  4. Bottom line is this- something needs to be done about the traffic situation in Natchitoches. From people not using the turning lane correctly to the flood of traffic trying to get across Keyser bridge. We need a solution or more accidents are going to happen.

  5. I use that intersection daily. People on Keyser are always running the red light, speeding & using the center turn lane inappropriately. It is clearly marked LEFT turn only from the center lane but people are always using it as a merge lane. When you merge you are going right from that lane & that is NOT how it is marked to use. I have almost been hit on Keyser many times because of people misusing the center lane or running red lights.

    • Need Driver’s License Examiners to have a “Failed” stamp, well they may have them but “fail” to use them. And, need to put a stop to drivers using a cell phone, both hand held and hands free.
