The Natchitoches Kiwanis Club, in partnership with with a local cleaners, kicked off its annual Coats for Kids Drive. They will accept donations during the holiday season. Kiwanis is collecting new and/or slightly used (in good condition) coats for local children in need this winter. The cleaners donated their services to clean the coats before distribution.

The coats will be delivered to the Natchitoches School Board Office and the Boys & Girls Club of Natchitoches. Collection sites are set up at Waskom, Brown & Associates, Bank of Montgomery, Mid South Bank (Royal Street branch), City Bank, and La Capital.
