There will be fireworks held in the downtown area during the holiday season, and the Cane River Waterway Commission encourages the public to bring boats and enjoy the spectacular displays. A safety zone, marked by yellow buoys, requires all boats to be behind and remain until the Fire Marshal gives release. Always be alert and follow patrol requests for safety.
