LaCap Senior Spotlight recognizes Bryce Moulton, a senior at the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts, as an outstanding high school senior.
Bryce has received many awards throughout his high school career including the Science Olympiad Award, Louisiana FolkLife Festival Writing Award, National American Voice Award for Scholastic Art and Writing, Louisiana Writes Award. He plays stand up bass and has played in Euopean cities as part of the Prague Music Festival. He was also selected for the Louisiana All State Orchestra, received superior ratings at the State Competition and the Piano Federation Awards, and was selected to play at Carnegie Hall.
Bryce has served as the Student Activity Board Vice President, SAB Major Events Chair, Project Polio 5K Race Committee Chair, tutored through the Lead Academic Peer Mentor, and as delegate/party chair/supreme court justice at the Louisiana Boys State. He completed a Summer Teaching Internship at Rising Ray Secondary School in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has also worked as a Science Lab Assistant at LSMSA and was a member of the Science Club and Improv Troop.
He has volunteered as a CrowdRise Event Coordinator for earthquake relief in Nepal, at the Natchitoches Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event, the Empower Nepali Girls Foundation and more.
Bryce recently completed a Weekend Business Academy in Natchitoches through the Harvard Business School. He is currently applying to college to pursue a career in science. He is the son of Patrice and Michael Moulton.
LaCap believes it takes good grades, community involvement, and hard work to make a successful leader. Bryce Moulton is being recognized for these qualities.
