This Saturday, Nov. 25, marked the second weekend of the Christmas Festival Season in Natchitoches. Thousands of festivalgoers spent the day enjoying the picture perfect weather and festive scenes all around our city. The festivalgoers packed the new seating area to enjoy concerts by local favorite the La Cour Trio and a band from down south, Louisiana Red, on the new riverbank stage. The younger set could enjoy several inflatables and rides at the Kid’s Fest area. Food vendors sold treats of every description.

There will be 16 food vendors in the festival area on hand for next Saturday’s Natchitoches Christmas Festival of Lights. The evening ended with the traditional fireworks display and concert following by headliner Louisiana Red.
