Special Election

This week is qualifying week at the Natchitoches Parish Clerk of Court’ office.

Open positions are:

Village of Natchez – Mayor
Village of Natchez – Aldermen
Village of Natchez – Aldermen
Village of Natchez – Aldermen
Village of Natchez – Chief of Police

Natchitoches Parish School Board – District Five (5)

City of Natchitoches – City millage tax renewal. (See Notice below)

David Stamey, Clerk of Court, says that no one had qualified for any of the open positions as of 4:30pm on the first day of qualifying.

  1. Why the qualifying time wasn’t posted prior to end of qualifying time in the local paper?? Another Natchitotches way of hand picking who they prefer.
