Kiwanian Carey Etheridge was recognized as Kiwanian of the month at the club’s meeting Jan. 18. Also, current and past Terrific Kids representatives were recognized for the time they put into the program, which commends an average of 250 Natchitoches Parish students on their academic achievements every month.

The first Thursday of every month from 4-10 pm is Chili’s Give Back Night, hosted by the Natchitoches Kiwanis Club. Club President Dion Boyett said this fundraiser is turning into real revenue for the club to do some great things in the community. Just ask a server to participate in the Give Back event and 15% of each bill will be donated to the Kiwanis Club.

In other news, Kiwanian Richard Rose was elected to serve as a district trustee for Region VII for a 3-year term.
