The Natchitoches Central High School Orchestra under the direction of Syll-Young Olson, 34 members and 20 chaperones will travel to Washington DC to attend the Capital Orchestra Festical to perform at the John F. Kennedy Center on President’s Day, Monday, Feb. 19. Additionally, they will spend time sightseeing which will include laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, touring the White House, the Air and Space Museum, the African American Musuem, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial and more.
