Natchitoches man arrested on narcotics and weapons charges.

According to a Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force Official, Earl King B/M 24, was taken into custody Feb. 7 near his apartment located in the 1200 block of Old Robeline Road in the city limits of Natchitoches for an outstanding warrant for Distribution of CDS Schedule I (Marijuana). At the time of King’s arrest agents located several pieces of suspected Percocet, a loaded stolen .357 revolver, and approximately 10 grams of suspected synthetic marijuana on his person.

NMJDTF agents had been conducting a narcotics investigation originating from complaints that King was allegedly selling illegal narcotics. NMJDTF agents obtained a search warrant for King’s residence and executed the search warrant. NMJDTF agents located approximately 3 grams of suspected marijuana, approximately 7.5 ounces of synthetic marijuana, $83, several types of ammunition and gun magazines, digital scales and drug paraphernalia used to sell, package and distribute illegal narcotics. The amount of suspected synthetic marijuana seized has a street value of approximately $3,500.

King was transported to the NPDC where he was booked on the following charges and issued an arraignment date of 5/7/2018.
