Marthaville students hold vigil to honor Florida shooting victims

Marthaville Vigil

Abby Rodriguez and Madeline Mitchell, students at Marthaville School and 4-H members, had an amazing idea to hold a Candlelight Vigil in the middle of Marthaville Feb. 28. The girls wanted to remember the 17 victims lost in the school shooting in Florida and help gather our community in praying for these kids, schools, and our community.

The Haggard family helped turn these girls visions into an amazing evening that touched those who attended. Robeline First Baptist heard about the vigil and brought a bus full of youth.
