November election qualifying for School Board Seats starts – Today!



The Nov. 6, 2018 election will feature the U.S. Congressional race, the Louisiana Secretary of State race, every Natchitoches Parish School Board race and municipal elections in Ashland, Campti, Goldonna, Provencal, Robeline and Natchez.

The qualifying dates for this election are July 18 – 20, 2018 at the Natchitoches Parish Clerk of Court office, room 104 at the courthouse. The Clerk’s office will be open for qualifying from 8 am – 4:30 pm.  TODAY!

  1. Ex government workers running for those seats? Educating a child is NOT the issue running a multimillion dollar business should be left to business people with absolutely no relatives working for the system.

  2. Why want retired educators run for these seats? And for God’s sake isn’t there anyone in Ralph Wilson’s district qualified to run against him? I’ve never so much coming out of a person’s mouth that means so little! In my opinion he has done more damage to the system than anyone.

    • When retired educators run for those seats, it seems that the community people would rather their family or friends who has no ideal what needs to be done , chair those seats. I remember a retired teacher ran in District 5 and want barely defeated by her opponent but only caz of family in that area. It’s sad that the people don’t understand the importance of putting and educated person in those positions.
