Mayor Lee Posey of the City of Natchitoches appointed Liz Knecht as Interim Finance Director after the announcement of Finance Director Patrick Jones’ acceptance of the Chief Financial Officer at Northwestern State University.

The City of Natchitoches will be advertising for the Finance Director position as required by city ordinance and the recommend applicant will be approved by the Natchitoches City Council. Liz Knecht comes to the City with a background in accounting as a Louisiana Licensed Certified Public Accountant and with prior auditing experience as the Director of Internal Audit for Northwestern State University.

The City of Natchitoches would like to thank Pat Jones for his 18 years of service to the City of Natchitoches and the work he accomplished as the Finance Director. The City of Natchitoches wishes him all the best in his future endeavors with the Northwestern State University. Fork’em Demons!
