Rotary Club learns about NPJ, recognizes Student of the Month, honors first responders


Rotarian with the Program Rick Nowlin invited Market Manager of Elite Radio Group and Natchitoches Parish Journal (NPJ) Bill Vance and NPJ Editor Corey Poole to speak at the October 30 meeting. The paper version of NPJ began in 2009 and converted to digital in 2012. It now publishes an email update Monday-Saturday. Rotary Club of Natchitoches members honored Lakeview Senior La’Tia Beavers. Her many accomplishments include National Honor Society President, Beta Club Reporter, SGO President, and 2018 Homecoming Queen. After graduation, La’Tia will attend LSU-A.
