NPD Makes Felony Theft Arrest

On November 14, 2018 the Natchitoches Police Department responded to the Magnolia Place Apartments in reference to a theft complaint. While on scene officers spoke with the property manager who stated that a large amount of money was missing from the apartment’s bank deposits. Officers then alerted the Natchitoches Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division who immediately responded to the scene. Detectives then began an extensive investigation in which they were able locate multiple thefts that totaled approximately eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800.00). Based on the information provided direct evidence was recovered which revealed that the complexes’ Day Manager, Heather Dickens had committed the thefts by keeping various rent payments for herself.

Arrested was twenty-seven (27) year old, Heather Dickens, 1136 Hampton Rd., Natchitoches, LA, on one count of R.S. 14:67 Theft (Felony). Ms. Dickens was later booked and transported to the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center where she awaits bond.

  2. Lord the city is missing $1,900 dollars and nobody has been arrested yet,
    why aren’t they looking into that ?

    • That is exactly right! Why have they let the missing $19000 go??? But then again one of our city council members was caught stealing from Wal Mart and is allowed to stay in her position. Seems like it’s all in who you know or who you are!
