NATCHITOCHES MAN ARRESTED ON NATCHITOCHES AND TEXAS WARRANTS

NPSO- Natchitoches Police Officers contacted the NPSO on Feb. 28 at 2:30 pm reporting they were interviewing a man near the intersections of East Second Street and Stephens Avenue in Natchitoches that was wanted by the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies assigned to the NPSO Warrants Division responded to the scene.

Deputies learned during a local and National Crime Information Center warrants check that the man identified as 27-year-old Christopher Braden, of the 300 block of Brickyard Road, Natchitoches was wanted by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Houston Texas since December 2018 for Stalking and Natchitoches Parish warrants.

Braden, 27, was transported and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with being a Texas Fugitive, 2-counts of Failure to Appear in the Tenth Judicial District Court on April 30, 2018 for Simple Burglary and Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Institution.

Braden is also wanted by the La. Department of Probation & Parole for Probation Violation.

He remains in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center awaiting court proceedings in Natchitoches Parish then extradition to Texas.
