Natchitoches Parish Fire District 6 members fought an early morning structure fire March 1 on Wilkerson Road. Saturated ground and an extended driveway made for a unique challenge for water supply. Engines 1 and 4, as well as Tankers 9 and 13, were on scene to ensure adequate water availability for the duration of the incident. 18 NPFD6 members responded to assist with water supply, exterior and interior operations.
