The Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches met on March 14 at the NSU Recreation Complex for its lunch meeting. The Guest Speaker was Chuck Bourg of SMG. Chuck is a previous resident of Natchitoches and former NSU Facilities Coordinator but is currently the Facilities Coordinator for the Mercedes Benz Super Dome, Champion Square and the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. Did you know that for a New Orleans Saints home game, SMG has anywhere from 12,000-15,000 employees working the event? SMG has approximately 250 events annually and accommodates approximately 2.3 million guests each year. Pictured are Henry Rachel, Reba Phelps, Chuck Bourg and Rodney Boswell.
