NCHS Tribal Fire Winterguard improves score throughout competitions

The Natchitoches Central Tribal Fire Winterguard completed their first competition season in the Louisiana Mississippi Colorguard and Percussion Circuit. The team competed in competitions held at Comeaux High School, Pineville High School, Jennings High School, and state championships at the Thibodaux Civic Center. They started the season with a score of 45.33 and improved their score each competition, ending the season with a score of 69.57.

“I’m so proud of them for a job well done in their first season of winterguard,” said Cady Hunt, the instructor for the team.

“I can’t wait to see what this team is able to do during football season in our field show at halftime,” said Aleisa Hudlow, NCHS band director. “They truly did some amazing things in their performances this year!”
