  1. I love St. Augustine, Florida! Location of the Fountain of Youth. I take a sip every time we visit.

Williamsburg, Va. is awesome too. Been to Granbury, Texas, happened to catch their annual wine festival. Won’t comment any further on that weekend…Not too familiar with the others on the list. but did just visit Georgetown, Kentucky. Cool small town.

    • Well, duh! I am very familiar with Natchez, Miss. It’s okay, but has grown to the point where it’s a “BIG” small town. Under the Hill is okay, I guess. Best part is it’s the origin of the Natchez Trace. Have driven the whole 400+ miles, and made all of the stops. Took us 3 days.

  2. Williamsburg, Virginia and Granberry, Texas are tough competition. Haven’t lived in either, but have visited each several times.

Natchitoches has a lot going for it, but truthfully, just making the nomination list is honor enough. Too many flaws to be the #1 small town.

    • I agree with you on this Jason, just to be in the top 10 and be nominated
hold your head high and be ok with it.But this town is most definitely not
      a #1 pick.

    • What flaws? What is not beautiful? It didn’t ask whether you like the current government. It’s beautiful. #1 by any comparison.
