Oasis of Love Christian Academy is now enrolling for the 2019-2020 school year.
Offering an A Beka Christian school curriculum exclusively, Oasis was established in 1981 by Frances and David Allen. David is Pastor of the Oasis of Love Fellowship and President of the organization. Frances is the Administrator and former Principal at the academy.
The Allens are excited to announce that Cortney Scott will be the new principal starting with the 2019-2020 school year.
Cortney came to work at OLCA in August of 2013. She has taught pre-school, first and second grades as well as being the junior high/ high school on site teacher/monitor. She has been and continuing to receive training through Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL. Cortney is also on the children’s ministry staff at Oasis of Love Fellowship.
“We teach Bible at the beginning of every day,” said Frances. “Phonics for reading and traditional mathematics are the foundation for our comprehensive instruction. Students are taught to honor God, respect our government and respect and obey parents and all God-given authority.”
Classes begin with students who are at least 3 years and 8 months old by the beginning of the school year and go up through the 12th grade. There is a $75 registration fee. Tuition for PreK-8th grade is $250 per month for 10 months. Three-year-old PreK and High School is $275 per month for 10 months. Sibling discounts are also offered.
High school sets students on a college prep track with a top notch curriculum. Oasis is also looking to provide a general or vocational track for its high school students as an option beginning with the new school year.
“We are here to offer students a Christian environment with Bible centered curriculum,” said Frances. “We believe that there is a need for students to be given the option of freedom of Bible study along with excellent academic courses every day during the school year.”
