Weather postpones start of NSU-McNeese series

Northwestern State’s three-game Southland Conference baseball series against McNeese will begin a day later than originally scheduled.

Heavy rains passed through Natchitoches early Thursday forcing the postponement of the series opener. The three-game set now will begin with a 6:30 p.m. Friday game and will conclude with a Saturday doubleheader.

The starting time for the twinbill has not been determined.

Saturday will mark the fourth doubleheader of the season for Northwestern State, its most in a single season in the three-year Bobby Barbier era.
