Young at Heart met June 5 at the First United Methodist Church on Second Street. The program was on The Ten Commandments, movie clips and trailer of Cecil B. DeMille, as shown by David Poston. Those celebrating anniversaries were Paul and Carol Baird, Sonny and Evelyn Evans and John and Donna Brewer.

Summer birthdays were Evie Godling, Carol Baird, Scotty Dawson, Eulalie Perkins, Juanita Howell, Maye Foster, Doug de Graffenried and Joann Collier. The group will not meet in July and August. First Wednesday lunches will resume in September. Sonny Evans, reporting.
