GERALD LONGLOIS ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR NATCHITOCHES PARISH PRESIDENT

I, Gerald Longlois am announcing my candidacy for the position of Parish President. I served as a police juror from 2007-2012, served on the Cane River Waterway, and served as a board member for the Council on Aging. I am retired from Emerson Electric. I served my constituents of this parish to the best of my abilities, concentrating on what is best for all voters and taxpayers.

I am a lifelong resident of Natchitoches Parish of 71 years, I raised 3 wonderful children who all attended NSU. If elected, I promise to continue to work diligently for you and your family to FIX ROADS, BRING NEW JOBS, WORK ON GARBAGE PROBLEMS AND DRAINAGE PROBLEMS.

I want to work hard to ensure all of us are able to raise our families right here in this great parish. Please listen carefully in this campaign, so that you will be able to make your own decision on the candidate who you think would do the best job.

I humbly ask for your vote on October 12, 2019. Please vote for a change of current leadership of our Parish!

Gerald Longlois, the right man with all the time for the JOB!

  1. I have lived here since 1994 and Hart rd has not been fixed when it flooded a few years ago it had 7 washouts and still not fixed. If you want some votes you need to come to church at Family Worship Center on Sandy point rd. 10 am beware of Hart rd. This is how Natchitoches Parish takes care of it’s people

  2. Surely not, part of the old jury system. Tenure on Cane River Waterway was questionable and fought a public records request. Not the man for the job.

  3. I remember him on the jury, another one of those guys who tried to do the right thing and was just butting his head against the wall. Fighting other members with personal agendas! Some of whom are still around. Good luck Chief!

  4. I don’t know Mr Longlois, I am sure he is well intended but I don’t see how we can keep putting members of the old police jury back on the parish council, and then hope for a different result
