Rapides woman arrested on burglary warrant

NPSO- Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Pineville woman on a Rapides Parish Burglary Warrant in possession of illegal narcotics on Wednesday afternoon in the Marco community according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

On Wednesday afternoon, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Detectives contacted the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office requesting assistance locating a Kasondra M. Coker, aka/Kasondra M. Delecerda wanted by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding criminal warrant for Simple Burglary.

RPSO believed Coker may have been traveling in a 2010 Nissan Altima and believed to be in the Obannon Road area in Marco.

NPSO Deputies went to the area and observed Coker standing near a Nissan Altima in the 100 block of Obannon Road. When she observed the units she attempted to enter a residence, however, deputies instructed her to walk to them.

Coker was placed under arrest without incident.

Deputies say while conducting a search incidental to Coker’s arrest, she informed them that she had methamphetamine on her person and marijuana inside her purse.

Deputies seized suspected methamphetamine and marijuana.

Kasondra Marie Coker, aka/Delecerda, 38, of the 100 block of Emma Street, Pineville, La. was transported and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with Simple Burglary-Rapides Parish Warrant, Possession of CDS Schedule II Methamphetamine and Possession of CDS I Marijuana.

Coker remains in the Natchitoches Detention Center awaiting bond with a hold placed on her for Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies D. Latchie and K. Lewis made the arrest.
