Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Marco man on obscenity charges on Tuesday morning according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Over the course of the past seven weeks, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have been receiving complaints of a nude male standing in the open door of his mobile home located in the 3400 block of La. Hwy 490, in Marco allegedly engaged in inappropriate acts.
Deputies have been receiving complaints from motorists passing through the area with their children witnessing this lewd activity.
On July 13, NPSO Deputies visited the residence, informed the suspect of the complaints, and instructed him to cease his actions or criminal action would be taken.
On Tuesday morning, August 6, while Sheriff’s Deputies were on patrol in the 3400 block of La. Hwy 490, they observed the male standing naked in the door of residence again.
As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested the following:
Joseph W. Salard, Jr., 52, of the 3400 block of Highway 490, Marco, was transported and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center, on 1 count of obscenity.
A Tenth Judicial District Judge has set bond at $5000.00.
During an interview with Salard, he told deputies that he was wrong and apologized for his behavior.
Law Enforcement handled it properly. They even gave him a chance to cease, which should have been all anyone with any sense (if indeed this fellow had any sense to begin with) would have needed. But no the nutcase didn’t heed the warning. Guess now he’ll stand around naked in jail.
