City Bank & Trust to sponsor NSU Quarterback Club luncheons in Natchitoches

Not only will the Northwestern State’s on-campus Quarterback Club luncheons have a new day this season, they will have a new, full-time presenting sponsor.

The NSU Athletic Department announced City Bank & Trust as the presenting sponsor for every 2019 Quarterback Club luncheon held in the Stroud Room in the NSU Field House.

The luncheons will shift off their traditional Wednesday date to Mondays, beginning Aug. 26. A strong NSU corporate partner, City Bank long has been the official academic sponsor of Demons and Lady Demons athletics.

“The staff of City Bank & Trust Company is very excited about partnering with NSU football this coming year as we’ve committed to being the title sponsor for all Demon Quarterback Club luncheons for the 2019 season,” City Bank & Trust President/CEO John Ackel said. “We are also proud to serve as the ‘Official Academic Partner’ for NSU Athletics.

“City Bank & Trust has a long tradition of supporting all NSU Demon athletic programs. Our institution realizes that NSU is a vital part of our community, and we are a full-service community bank committed to the future of Natchitoches and Northwestern State University.”

City Bank & Trust was established in Natchitoches in 1933 and operates three branch locations in the city as well as additional branches in Campti and in Many.

There will be an NSU Quarterback Club luncheon every Monday of the regular season with the exception of Labor Day week when the luncheon will move to Tuesday, Sept. 3. Cost for the luncheons are $10 per person with each one beginning at 11:45 a.m. in the Stroud Room.
