Natchitoches Parish man arrested on multiple possession charges

According to a Natchitoches Multi Jurisdictional Task Force official, on Aug. 19 at approximately 2130 hrs, Agents with the NMJDTF assisted NPSO Criminal Investigation Division Detectives with a search warrant in the 600 block of Riverview Dr.

During the execution of the search warrant, Agents and Detectives located approximately 389. 5 green oblong pills marked (S903) inside the residence, which were identified as 2 mg Alprazolam. Also located within the residence were a small amount of suspected THC wax and several paraphernalia items used for smoking marijuana.

During the investigation, Detectives discovered that, Hunter Luther, 23, W/M of the 600 Block of Riverview Dr. Natchez, LA did not possess prescription for the 2 mg Alprazolam’s that were located.

As a result of the investigation and search warrant, Hunter Luther was arrested and charged with the following:

• Possession w/intent to distribute CDS IV (Alprazolam)
• Possession of CDS I (THC Wax)
• Simple Burglary
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS

  1. Where did all these pills come from? 389 pills? Did he make them? Buy them? I’ve heard you can order the chemicals and equipment to make pills from China. Seems to me like the cops need to find the source, not just arrest dealers.
