Agenda for September 23 City Council Meeting – Tonight

Natchitoches City Council will have a pre-council meeting on Monday, August 26 beginning at 5:00 p.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. to discuss non-agenda items. The City Council meeting will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to both the pre-council meetings and council meetings with the understanding that items not on the agenda will not be discussed at the scheduled council meetings, but the public is welcome to discuss any topic at the pre-council meetings. The City Council Meetings are held at the Natchitoches Arts Center located at 716 Second Street, Natchitoches, Louisiana. Please be advised due to renovations at the Natchitoches Arts Center, 716 Second Street the City Council meetings will be held at the City of Natchitoches Municipal Building, 560 Second Street, Natchitoches, Louisiana beginning June 2019 until further notice.

  1. Ok tonight is the night. The sales tax will be passed as will the resolution to give northwestern half the money. Sure seems it would not be legal to pass a tax and give half the money to a state supported institution. I think it is a bad decision on the part of the city leaders.
