Natchitoches Police arrest package thieves

The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested a pair of package thieves that have ruined Christmas joy for many citizens.

On Dec. 20 around 6 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department placed Marquinashae Brown (B/F, 23 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) and a juvenile under arrest for the package thefts. Marquinashae Brown and the juvenile have both been charged with two counts of theft and two counts of criminal trespass.

The Natchitoches Police Department would like to thank the many citizens that provided information which led to the arrest of these individuals.

  1. I had two wallets taken out of the package not sure if it was done before or after it was delivered but GOD knows if they needed it all they had to do ask I would have gave it to them I don’t like thieves Merry Christmas

  2. I have had a few mail-order items not make it into my hands, but I’m not sure if they were stolen, delivered to the wrong address or just not shipped properly. In all the instances, I notified the shipper and was either given a credit for the item or they shopped again. Most companies insure packages, so those missing might want to notify the shipper to see if it’s insured.
