The Northwestern State baseball team will host its Alumni Weekend from Feb. 28-March 1 when the Demons face Eastern Illinois in a three-game series.

In addition to special recognition for the 1995 team, which is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Southland Conference championship, all Demon baseball alumni are invited back for the weekend, which begins with a 6:30 p.m. first pitch Feb. 28 against the Panthers.

Visiting alumni will enjoy a tour of the newly renovated NSU baseball locker room and a crawfish boil ahead of the 2 p.m. Feb. 29 matchup against Eastern Illinois at Brown-Stroud Field. The crawfish boil begins at 12 p.m.

Those in attendance will be recognized during Saturday’s game and will have access to the VIP Party Pad located along the third base side of Brown-Stroud Field.

There will be postgame socials at Cane River Brewery following Saturday’s game. The series concludes with a 1 p.m. Sunday game.
