A traffic stop in Campti on Tuesday afternoon has led to the arrests of two men on various charges according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
On Tuesday afternoon, February 4 at approximately 2:53pm, Deputies assigned to the NPSO Patrol Division were patrolling on US-71 in Campti when they stopped a 2013 Ford pickup truck for a traffic violation.
Deputies said the operator of the vehicle identified himself as Timothy W. Keith of Coushatta, La.
A NLETS computer check revealed that Keith’s drivers license was suspended and that he was wanted by the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office for Issuing Worthless Checks and by the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear in Court.
An additional unit responded to assist.
Deputies observed a passenger in the vehicle identified as 40-year-old Charles Chase Nobles of Goldonna, La. sweating profusely and acting extremely nervous in the vehicle.
While speaking with Nobles, deputies observed suspected drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies seized approximately 1-gram of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested:
