Four students from Natchitoches Central High School performed in the BDA District II Honor Band concert on Jan. 25. They performed with the Lafitte Band, one of the two high school honor bands. These students were selected as part of the ensemble based on results from an audition they had back in September. These ensembles are made up of the best musicians from Natchitoches, Sabine, Red River, Rapides, Avoyelles, Winn, and Grant parishes. The students representing NCHS are Eric Martinez, senior alto sax, Wesley Clark, sophomore tuba, Ja’Vion Patterson, junior tuba, and Mariana Martinez, sophomore flute.
