NATCHITOCHES, LOUISIANA, March 10, 2020 – Mayor Lee Posey took a trip across town and visited the only pharmacy benefit manager in the state of Louisiana – Southern Scripts. Not only did Mayor Posey visit the campus of Southern Scripts to learn more about the operations of the company, but he visited as a client of the company as well. The City of Natchitoches has been a client of Southern Scripts for almost six years.
The Mayor’s day at Southern Scripts consisted of an introductory presentation by the Southern Scripts leadership team, including LeAnn C. Boyd, Chief Executive Officer; Stacy Lambert, Vice President of Client Services; Dudley Cedars, Director of Operations; and Matt Lowrey, Director of Human Resources. The presentation covered a multitude of topics, such as an insightful glance at precisely what Southern Scripts does, the clients they serve, the national impact the company has, and a peek at employment attraction, increases, and retention. Dudley Cedars then provided a tour of the facilities, with Mayor Posey greeting employees and discussing departmental roles and duties with all onsite departments.
“Having our clients visit Southern Scripts is another great opportunity to embody stewardship, one of our Core Values. But having Lee Posey, the Mayor of Natchitoches and a current client, was a special treat,” said Matt Lowrey. “Partnering together with our local community is very important as we continue our trajectory of strategic growth.”
“It was a great privilege to tour the Southern Scripts headquarters, located right here in our very own town of Natchitoches,” said Posey. “I admire the work of Steve and LeAnn Boyd to build this community-inclusive business – it is truly a win-win for the city to be partnered with a local healthcare provider that is making national waves in the industry.”
