Pursuant to the provisions of Proclamation Number 41 JBE 2020 – Section 2-A issued by Governor John Bel Edwards on April 2, 2020, and extended by the Governor on April 27, 2020 until May 15, 2020 notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Natchitoches will hold an electronic Special Meeting on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 beginning at 2:00 p.m. The reasons for holding an electronic public meeting are to limit the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) and to remain in compliance with Proclamation Number 41 JBE 2020, which prohibits any public gathering through May 15, 2020. In accordance with LA. R.S. 42:19 and Attorney Generals Open Meetings Guidance, in order to meet quorum requirements, some Natchitoches Council Members may be involved in the meeting via telephone or video conference. Also during the meeting if you have any comments on the agenda item being considered, you may call 318-521-1023 and you will be placed on speaker phone to make your comments. You must state your name for the record and you will be limited to 3 minutes for your comments. Please remember that this is not a question and answer session and please speak clearly for the record. Since we are allowing for a public comment period, agenda items will take longer than usual because we will allow 45 seconds between the reading of the item and the vote being taken, for any public comment.

Resolution #018 Resolution Approving An Amendment To A Utility Easement Agreement For Utilities Across Property Located On The Northern Right Of Way Of Keyser Avenue Owned By Mursimco, Inc., Said Easement To Be Relocated As Depicted On A Survey By Brandon C. Thornton, Dated February 3, 2020 And Revised March 1,2020, And Authorizing The Mayor To Execute The First Amendment To Utility Agreement On Behalf Of The City Of Natchitoches, Louisiana.
