These are uncertain times and we are taking each day as it comes. The challenges faced by those in our rural communities were hard to overcome prior to COVID-19, imagine now. If this crisis has shown us anything, it is how vulnerable those living in poverty are. That single mother that struggled to work and take care of her family before the crises is now unemployed. How is she going to provide nutrient-dense food for her family to keep them healthy and strong?

That’s where we come in! For the past 5 years, Campti Field of Dreams has partnered with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to help people help themselves by teaching them how to grow their own food! We also share information on the financial and technical assistance programs that are available to help them do everything from fixing their homes to start a business. We focus on both growing food, growing farmers, and rebuilding the local food system.
