Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, and multiple units from Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #9 with mutual aid assistance from Red River Parish Fire Districts responded to the scene of a structure fire in the 1100 block of Grappes Bluff Road in the Fairview Alpha community in north Natchitoches Parish on July 9 at 2:55 pm, according to Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Stuart Wright.

NatCom 911 Center received the 911 call at approximately 1:41pm. Units arrived on scene within minutes and began fighting the fire.

There were no reported injuries.

Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS were staged in the area for medical assistance if needed.

The residence is owned by Tom and Julie Collier.

The cause of fire is undetermined at this time.
