  1. Natchitoches has a race problem alright…..a. race to see how fast everyone that can to get out of this crime ridden hellhole and of course the refusal to face the reality of just who is committing almost all the violent crime in this city.

  2. Seventeen years old. A precious life wasted. Can anyone explain to me why this child’s life didn’t matter?

  3. exactly and I am sure we would be right up there with Shreveport.
But were a happy town Steve,Front Street,X mas festival, new parks.

  4. If Natty would start daily counting and posting of shootings and murders in town, I think we all would be much more worried about those stats than Covid…

    • Unfortunately, the violence statistics will never be revealed. Those facts would scare the tourists away. Since our city seems to have tourism as the only source of revenue and cares so little about the actual tourist (raising taxes designed to tax said tourists, but only in certain areas) I don’t see that happening. Very Sad that our city has chosed to bite the hand that feeds them.

    • Cant do that, the inconvenient truth that can’t be told about who commits about 99.9999 percent of the violent crime in Natchitoches. Maybe they will light some candles and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk
