Early Voting for The 2020 Natchitoches Mayoral Election is Underway – Saturday’s numbers!

Early voting for the 2020 election for mayor of Natchitoches began at the parish courthouse Saturday, July 25.

Mr. Gary Deblieux was the first person to cast a vote in this election. Mr. Deblieux was joined by a steady crowd of his fellow citizens who came in to vote throughout the day.

The Natchitoches Parish Journal wishes to commend Mr. Deblieux and his fellow voters who got an early start in making their voices heard. The actual election day for the Natchitoches mayoral race will be August 15. The Natchitoches City Court Judge Race will be decided on the same ballot as the presidential election on November 3. Get out and make your voices heard!

  1. How many from each party??? I mean Posey is an Independent and Williams is a Democrat. Not sure if the race clears up who might be leading.
