
A Texas couple was injured in a single-vehicle crash on La. Hwy 118/Kisatchie-Mora Road this morning according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 8:37am, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, Louisiana State Police, Natchitoches Parish Fire District #4, Natchitoches Regional Medical Center EMS, Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District #4 and US Forest Service Law Enforcement responded to 911 reports of a single-vehicle crash involving injuries on La. Hwy 118/Kisatchie-Mora Road in the Kisatchie area.
Deputies say a 2001 Lincoln Navigator operated by 46-year-old Roderick Bolt of Humble, Texas was traveling eastbound on La. Hwy 118/Kisatchie-Mora Road when for reasons still under investigation by LSP left the roadway on the left side causing the vehicle to overturn coming to a rest upright.
A 47-year-old female passenger in the vehicle from Humble, Texas was ejected during the crash.
The passenger was transported from the scene by EMS to Rapides Regional Trauma Center with moderate injuries.
The driver received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by EMS.
The crash is being investigated by Troopers assigned to LSP Troop-E Alexandria.
