Due to the potential threat of tropical weather, all Natchitoches Parish School Board schools and facilities will be closed beginning at 12 p.m. Wednesday, August 26 and will remain closed through Friday, August 28. All professional developments for teachers and technology dissemination that was scheduled to occur during these days will be rescheduled for a later date.
“Due to an abundance of caution in response to the threat of Hurricane Laura,” says Superintendent, Grant Eloi, “the Natchitoches Parish School system will be closing all NPSB schools and offices during this time for the safety of our employees and community.”
NPSB will be monitoring weather updates closely throughout the week. Families can expect an update from the school board over the weekend as to the status of school for next week. Weather closure updates will be provided on the NPSB website and social media pages.
