Kiwanis CLub learns about Advanced Manufacturing Technician Program

At the Kiwanis Club of Natchitoches’ Oct. 15 weekly virtual meeting, club members enjoyed a great presentation and update from CLTCC Natchitoches Campus from instructors Dr. Nabin Sapkota and Randy Caskey on the GeauxFame advanced manufacturing technician program. As an added bonus, four of their students shared about their experience so far with the AMT program and how it has positively impacted their lives.

President Craig Caskey discussed the club’s plans to participate in two upcoming service projects: Kiwanis One Day and Witch Way to Main Street. Kiwanis One Day is a day (4th Saturday in October) set aside by Kiwanis International for a day of volunteering where every club around the world is improving their communities at the same time. Witch Way to Main Street is a Trick or Treat event for kids and is happening on the Natchitoches Downtown River Bank on Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9-11 am.
