Veteran John Masson and his wife Donna Masson were busy putting in the flags for the annual Flag Garden on the downtown riverbank, Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 10 when two NSU students passed by. The students asked if they needed help, and the Massons eagerly took them up on it. The students, Riley Sullivan and Travis Jimenez, eagerly helped with completing the Flag Garden.
“It was wonderful to meet these two young people and would like to recognize them for their thoughtfulness and Patriotism,” said Donna.
Thank you, Donna and John Masson. It always makes me feel humbled and grateful seeing all those flags standing at attention on the riverbank.
