City Work Update: Bayou Jacko Drainage Project

The City of Natchitoches announced today, Dec. 1, that work has resumed on the Bayou Jacko Drainage Project located at the Winona Street crossing. This crossing failed due to age and the City has been studying a solution to deal with poor soil conditions so that the proper repair could be performed. Two 6’ culverts will be installed to allow water to pass through and an asphalt road will be constructed on top. This project is expected to take approximately 30 calendar days and will be completed by Regional Construction.
