Chamber Hires NSU Grad Anna Waxley

The Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Anna Waxley as their new Events Coordinator.

Waxley is a 2019 graduate from Northwestern State University, where she majored in Hospitality Management and Tourism and minored in Hospitality Services. During her tenure at NSU she was an active member of Tri Sigma sorority and volunteered at both the Natchitoches Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and Tim Tebow’s Nights to Shine Foundation. She is also a graduate of the Disney College Program. Waxley is a familiar Natchitoches face as co-owner of Cane River Candy Company and a Natchitoches native.

“We are excited to welcome Anna to the team! She is going to be a huge asset to our organization, and help us expand the services we are able to offer our members,” states Chamber President Laura Lyles

In her new role, Waxley will be responsible for coordinating all Chamber meetings, signature events, programs, and initiatives.

“The Chamber serves such an important role in Natchitoches, and I’m so excited to be a part of this team. We’ve got some great things on the horizon so keep a look out for some major announcements coming soon!” states Chamber Events Coordinator Anna Waxley.

The Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to making the Natchitoches area a thriving business community by promoting commerce, strengthening people, and improving lives.

  1. ANNA WAXLEY WAS ONE OF MY BEST STUDENTS FROM NCHS. SHE IS A DELIGHT AND WILL BE AN ASSET TO ANYTHING SHE SETS HER MIND TO.
