NSU extends closure through Monday

All classes on all campuses on Monday, February 22 will be virtual. Faculty and staff except for personnel providing essential on-site services as determined by their supervisors will continue to work remotely. An update on classes and work schedules for the remainder of the week will be issued Sunday afternoon, February 21.

Because the city of Natchitoches water pressure has not been stabilized, residential students are not encouraged to return to campus until they receive notification from the university.

As of today, water has not been restored to University Place 2. We are continuing to work to accommodate residential students who remain on campus by providing warming stations and other amenities at University Columns clubhouse, University Place 1 clubhouse, and the Varnado Hall ballroom.

Iberville dining hall will be open from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. for brunch and from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for dinner through Monday. Iberville will be closed except during designated dining hours. Steak ‘n Shake will be open from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. through Sunday.
