Natchitoches Police arrest juvenile for Attempted Second Degree Murder

The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested a juvenile for Attempted Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property for a shooting that occurred earlier in the week.

On March 24, 2021 around 8:10 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department responded to the 600 block of Sabine Street in reference to a disturbance in the area. Upon officers arrival they located two individuals who said that while they were traveling on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near Texas Street two juveniles began to shoot at their vehicle.

On March 26, 2021 the Natchitoches Police Department arrested one of the juveniles for Attempted Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property and they were placed in the Ware Youth Center.
