  1. It’s doesn’t matter where your at getting killed by a shooting is nothing to joke about or count body counts. A bullet doesn’t care if your white or black. What everyone needs to think about what if the next one is you or one of your family members. If ppl that commit the crimes would spend the rite time for murder than they would think twice before pulling the trigger

  2. Has anyone noticed that back when Covid first started and they had a curfew on the streets the number of shootings and killings went down? Almost as soon as it was lifted the shootings started again.

    • Chicago, seriously? Have you seen St. Louis, MO or Shreveport, LA, or even New Orleans, LA? Natchitoches doesn’t even come close.

So at this point, you are comparing apples to oranges and we don’t do that ’round here.

And your comment about the “how to new mayor mayor handles this” just shouts that you’ve been living under a rock. Wake up, go act. And stop speaking on things you have absolutely no clue about.

      • Our shootings and murders per capita are off the charts. Probably higher than St. Louis or Shreveport. Hell, people are getting gunned down at Taco Bell during the middle of the day. We have a massive problem on our hands and it is only getting worse.

      • On a per capita basis yes we are becoming as Chicago, however it was not intended as an apples to apples or oranges comparison. Get real, the homicides in this town have gotten worse and it’s going to take real leadership to get a handle on this. The fact that the police force in understaffed is not helping and only the Mayor can fix that. BTW you should take your own advice about being clueless. SMH

        • Victor Laslow as normal you’re about 100% correct, but you did leave out the fact the city is going to spend millions for a new view of the Roque house! That’s progress!
