The Natchitoches National Fish Hatchery will reopen its aquarium on Saturday, June 19. CDC guidelines will continue to be followed including social distancing, wearing masks if unvaccinated, and waiting before entering the building if it seems too crowded on the inside.
Upgrades including touchless amenities in the restrooms and a new air filtration system have been added for the safety of all visitors.
The aquarium is open 7 days a week from 8 am – 3 pm and is free to the public for self guided walk throughs. Staff permitting, facility tours for large groups are available upon request. Call 318-352-5324 to schedule a group tour in advance.
