    • Adnah, that is not the problem it’s the result from years of single parent households, lowering expectations, excusing bad behavior, fostering hate for others as well as law and order and ignoring the real problem(s) when clearly evident as you are doing.

I do know many single parents who have raised and are raising wonderful children. I also know some 2 parent households with little thugs running amok. You cannot put it off on ALL single parent households. The rest of that is absolutely correct; “lowering expectations, excusing bad behavior, fostering hate for others as well as law and order and ignoring the real problem(s)”

        • Gail, I did not “put it all off” on single parent households, it is one of the main causes with an unstated cause of society also excusing bad behavior, etc. You read that into my comment. I suggest that you go do some research in which you will find that children in single parent households, in general, have more behavioral problems than those with two parents. The lack of dads is especially noteworthy in these statistics no matter how well the single mother is doing. I didn’t make this up and your examples are not a statistically significant sample. Where do you think these kids learn to hate authority and act out? In the home.

          • Nothing what you said is facts, statistics online is man made. Just because Google said it doesn’t make it true. Children from all walks of life, whether living in a single parent household or in a well established home have just as much behavior problems as that of a SPH. Need a better answer to the madness, tired of hearing that weaken lame excuse., Can’t fix something that’s not meant to be fixed. Law enforcement from top to bottom sucks here in Natchitoches.
Instead of focusing on single parent household stats channel your energy into researching why so many known murders are still walking the streets here. Allegedly, the shooting today was done by a thug they had a chance to put away for life but dropped the ball.

          • Don’t blame the police when these little thugs shoot each other. The police can’t be everywhere all the time
